GLASS AND JEWELRY TUTORIALS
About the Author
I started my career as a visual artist and silversmith in the 1970's. A few years later, I added technical writing to my resume, writing about the craft of jewelry making for magazines and international catalogs. I wrote a popular series for Lapidary Journal entitled "Shoestring Workshop," and also wrote the Rio Grande Tools catalog for 10 years. A few years after that, I discovered flame worked glass. There was very little instruction available at the time, but it was fun figuring things out on my own. Well, sometimes! Because of this, I am completely self-taught as a glass artist, and I've now been making and selling flameworked glass for 25 years.
Since I've always been very passionate about tools, I came up with quite a few of my own tools and techniques along the way.
In the early 2000's, I brought all these interests together and began to write eBook tutorials for all different stuff I'm inspired by.
You'll see my current tutorials on the left. The list is constantly changing as I convert my collection of writings to a digital-friendly format. Just click on any cover to read more about the tutorial and purchase.
But What About Those FREE TUTORIALS I Heard About?!
Yes, you can pick up a free Frit Diva tutorial every day ~ just click on any of the tuts marked "free" and enter your email address. You'll be taken directly to the free tutorials. The free tuts will shift once a week or so, so keep checking back and grab all the ones you want while they are free.
The only thing I do ask is that you DON'T share the free files directly with others, but please DO invite them to come to the website and download them for themselves. We like to know who's enjoying our free tutorials, but don't worry, your email address will never be shared!
If you have questions or comments about any of my tutorials, please feel free to get in touch ~
